I’ve been mashing the keyboard since I was a kid—starting with MySpace layouts for my friends’ hardcore bands. That was the earliest version of what would become a career.
After posting a few side projects on Twitter (instead of paying attention in high school Visual Basic class), I landed an internship at a top Chicago creative agency—right as responsive design was taking off. That was over a decade ago. I’ve been building ever since.
Today, I work as a front-end developer for a global beverage brand group, shipping high-performance, accessible websites for names like White Claw, Mike’s Hard Lemonade, and Cayman Jack. The work spans international audiences, multiple languages, and tight timelines—code that runs clean across markets, devices, and time zones.
Over 10 years ago, I started THICKRIM, a small, independent studio that’s still running. We build fast, focused digital tools for the aftermarket automotive industry—helping custom shops, installers, and dealer programs modernize how they sell and operate. That includes full-stack websites, cloud-based platforms, and internal systems—built to last and made to scale.
From idea to paper to prototype to production, I ship with taste, speed, and a focus on tools that perform.
I live in the Chicago suburbs with my dog and my Jeep.

Born in a garage, building for the road ahead
THICKRIM is my studio — and my story. The name comes from the thick-rimmed glasses I’ve worn since I was a kid, and somewhere along the way, it just made sense to keep it. It’s a nod to seeing things clearly, staying focused, and building with purpose — whether I’m designing interfaces or tuning real-world performance.
What started as me coding and hosting websites in high school has grown into a full-service digital studio focused on the aftermarket automotive, powersports, and action sports industries. We design high-performance websites, front-end systems, and custom software for performance garages, custom shops, and fan-driven brands.
In 2024, we launched our own SaaS platform for the aftermarket world — built by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts. We’re also working to bring emerging tech like AI, blockchain, and automation into the hands of real builders and garage owners — not to replace them, but to amplify their craft.
Not in the auto world? That’s cool too. If you need sharp digital work and you’re into building good stuff, reach out — I’d love to hear what you’re working on.
Still part garage, part lab — always in motion.
Over the years, I’ve worked across stacks and platforms—from agency sites to SaaS products to internal tooling.
